Full Description

First of all, let me tell you that Total Commander is the greatest File Manager on Windows platform (well, let's say that it shares the first place with FAR and DOS Navigator).
The great thing about TC is that it allows users to write plug-ins. As I decided to play with them a bit, I wrote the simplest one - the gfx viewer.
At this stage, it's an experimental version and it definetely contains bugs, but I just spent one evening on this, so you have to forgive me if anything went wrong ;)
The size of the plug-in is extremely small, and it's because I am not using any dedicated image library, and instead - I just politely ask the system do do the dirty decompression job for me ;).

To install

It's very simple. Download the plug-in, drop it in Total Commander's Plug-in directory, then register it: (Configuration / Options / Plug-ins / Lister Plug-ins (.WLX) / Configure / Add).
You may also need to disable external viewers (IrfanView/Xnview) for gfx:
(Configuration / Options / Edit/View / Configure internal viewer... / uncheck Use Irfanview/Xnview to load graphics other than BMP).

To uninstall

If something doesn't work - just close TC and remove the plug-in from TC Plug-ins directory, then restart the program.
